Reviews
Leyla gave me some incredibly generous and insightful career advice during a time when I really needed perspective. She not only offered practical, well-informed suggestions, but also helped me consider new avenues I hadn’t previously explored.
Her ability to draw on such a rich base of knowledge – and share it so openly – really helped me. I came away from our conversation feeling energised, clearer and genuinely grateful.

Activity overview
In this dynamic, interactive masterclass designed to deepen your understanding of culture and equip you with practical tools to enhance your day-to-day work. We start by exploring what culture means, from the visible and semi-visible aspects to the invisible beliefs and values that shape behaviour. Through thought-provoking discussions and group exercises, you’ll uncover the layers of culture, including high and low context communication styles and Hofstede’s cultural dimensions. The interactive breakout sessions encourage participants to reflect on their own cultural lens, while real-world scenarios and case studies help you navigate potential challenges. We also explore possible cultural misunderstandings and how to transform these into opportunities to learn.
You'll learn about inclusive language, the cultural iceberg model, and how to meet colleagues where they are. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, discuss cultural competence models, and practice strategies for acknowledging and addressing cultural differences with confidence. We’ll also tackle perceived “mistakes” and how to recover gracefully, ensuring anyone feels prepared to handle any situation with empathy.
By the end of the session delegates will leave with a clear action plan to embed the learning into practice. Whether you’re new to cultural awareness or looking to deepen your expertise, this masterclass will empower you to foster more inclusive and meaningful workplace relationships.
