“I feel I am no longer held hostage by what  thinks others are thinking
Since working with Ruth I  am more mindful, of who needs to do what , and I do  much less myself and don’t do other people’s  work anymore . I am much better at holding others to account to ensure that they do what they are meant to I feel feels much more confident and I am now running an event for 1000 attendees.  I wouldn’t have been able to do that 6 months ago”

Activity overview

In many organisations there is not a healthy culture of giving and receiving feedback. It is often only done only in Performance Review cycles or in in extreme situations. Both individuals and organisations would benefit enormously by creating a healthy culture making it normal and useful to give and receive feedback. Many organisations are equally poor at giving constructive (improvement-oriented feedback) as they are at giving affirmative feedback. This is a lost to the individual - not knowing what needs to change and to the organisation as they are not helping the individual to develop their full potential.

This practical 3 hour session is set up to change this dynamic. The session is envisaged to be interactive and participatory. Participants will be invited to experiment with and experience different ways of giving and receiving feedback. The group will have the opportunity to learn experientially and from each other.

The actual feedback used in the session can be based on role plays created by the trainer – in partnership with the organisation.

Participants will leave the session with easy to apply skills and tools that can be used any time they need to give feedback to a colleague or employee.
