Activity overview

The opportunity to hear from an experienced engaging authentic speaker on topics in the public eye, ranging widely but bringing nuance, insight, humanisation, depolarisation, critique, humour, and total honesty to the subject. I've spoken some 500+ times from a TEDx in my UK home city on mental health to to being flown to 5 minutes around the corner from the White House in D.C. to talk about disability awareness. Whether it's a corporate client or a festival panel, I bring the same level of professionalism but with a side of humour and main dish of honesty and lived experience. I can speak on mental health and wellbeing (particular bipolar ,anxiety, and suicide awareness), gender (trans/nonbinary, cofounded support groups and a 110 episode podcast), neurodiversity (AuDHD), culture wars, polarisation and prejudice. With a past in education and tech, LGBT activism and support, visibility in media from the BBC to GBNews, I'm always willing to engage and not enrage, diffuse in order to discuss, humanise in order to hear all viewpoints and create nuanced debate and learnings. My 16 years work with the Human Library means I have developed an openness and understanding of individual difference not diversity stereotypes, and create spaces for bold and brave dialogue and inspirational takeaways.
