Reviews
“I worked with Andrew recently to deliver a talk on the importance of community, and right through from the lead up to the event to the delivery, Andrew was proactive in ensuring his presentation was tailored both to our organisation and our audience. His engaging style of delivery brought the best out of our colleagues (even first thing in the morning), and we received many comments that they could have listened to him talk longer, so we’ve already booked him for another talk later this year!”

Activity overview
From Andrew Tate and the Netflix series Adolescence, to the tragedy of the numbers of men we lose to suicide every day: the question about why men are struggling is a hot topic today and one which is being debated in parliament and mainstream media.
This keynote talk, addresses three questions and in doing so, explores the following sub-topics.
The Testosterone Crisis:
Why is testosterone so important for male physical and mental wellbeing? Why are levels of testosterone rapidly falling across all male age groups? What is the impact of these falling levels? And how do we reverse the decline?
Men's Communities:
Why has there been an explosion of men's communities across the UK and what can we learn from them? What are men saying and how we would start our own men's community?
Toxic Masculinity:
These words carry so much meaning yet they are often loosely banded around. Is there a better way of framing our language so we draw men into meaningful conversation about these things? What does the data say about the impact of 'toxic masculinity' as a phrase on male psychology? And what can we learn from groups successfully engaging men but using a completely different narrative?
Psychological Safety:
Outside of wellbeing and EDI circles, this phrase is still relatively unknown, so what does it mean? What does the data say about it? How do you create it in a fast-paced working environment? And why is it important in creating better outcomes for our men?
Fatherhood:
From new fathers, to childless men (but not by choice) to fathers no longer living with their children, there are many different groups of fathers, so what are their challenges? How do we better support men in their various fatherhood roles, as a means of supporting their wellbeing and the wellbeing of their family units?
Gender Bias:
From TV to mainstream media, to our cultural expectations, beliefs and biases, what are the most common biases which shape how we think about men and women? Are such biases out of date? And how do we move forward?
Allyship:
What is allyship? What difference does allyship make when addressing sensitive topics? How do we practically become better allies for each other? Redefining masculinity: How do we create a perception of masculinity which is truly inspiring, which is realistic and fit for the 21st century? How do we start better conversations and who are the positive male role models we can look to? Who are the groups who lead on role modelling for boys in the UK? What are they saying and what can we learn from them
